These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CultureSync Personal and CultureSync Business (the "Service"), operated by Fun Gentleman ("CultureSync", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
CultureSync provides research-informed educational and informational content about cultural patterns — for intercultural relationships (Personal) and cross-border business (Business). The content describes cultural norms and tendencies, not predictions about any individual. It is not professional advice.
The Service is a general reference. It is not legal, financial, psychological, relationship, medical, or professional business advice, and it is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified professional or for getting to know a specific person. Every person is an individual; cultural information is context, not a rule. You are solely responsible for how you use the content.
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. One account is for one person; do not share access in a way that circumvents subscription terms.
Because CultureSync offers a free trial so you can evaluate it before you are billed, and because it is digital content made available to you immediately, payments are generally non-refundable, and cancelling ends future renewals rather than refunding the current term.
As a courtesy that goes beyond the standard, if you are a first-time subscriber and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first charge by emailing support@culturesync.app. This 14-day courtesy applies once per customer; we may decline repeated, abusive, or clearly bad-faith requests. Renewal charges after your first term are non-refundable.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory refund or withdrawal rights you may have under the consumer laws of your country of residence.
Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security or access other users' data, no scraping or bulk extraction of content, no reselling or redistributing the content, and no circumventing the subscription gating.
The Service and its content, design, and trademarks are owned by Fun Gentleman or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the content for your own use under these Terms. All other rights are reserved.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the content is complete, accurate for every situation, or error-free, or that the Service will be uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fun Gentleman will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the Service or other users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, and any disputes will be subject to the courts located in the United States, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, communicated to you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
